Unlike any other healing modality that I know of, Homeopathy works by Universal unchanging natural and spiritual principles. This is very different than theory or personality based methods in that it does not change with the intellectual, political, and commercial fads of the day. There are a number of Principles which have been identified in Homeopathy, but this article is about what I consider the most profound of all the Laws, which is that Homeopathy operates by the Law of Atonement.
A tone means that there is a vibration of sound or energy which effects matter and calls it into and out of form. There are tones all through the Universe from the most sublime to the most crude. The light frequencies are tonal vibrations as are the sounds that are expressed through each animal. The sun is composed of billions of individual frequencies which effect the matter of the earth to manifest into uncountable forms and functions. Our thoughts are tones which manifest as dreams, words, and actions which in turn build society’s forms and functions.
Tones or vibrations are created by intention by us as humans and beyond us as humans. High above our human world of birth and death, harmonious intentions hold sway over all, flowing from the intention of pure love. The human condition is that of imbalanced inharmoneous intentions which manifest as all the suffering we encounter from birth to death on this material plane. This is so because we are allowed free will to intend to will, to be, to do, and to have to a certain point. It is the Universal Intention and tone that we should learn from our experience here so we will choose to bring our intention back into atonement with the Universal Intention.
Because of the love of the Universal Intention, individually and collectively we are sent remedies which tend to move us back towards harmony. These remedies are always operating by the Law that similar cures similar. One of the most profound collective examples of the remedy is the symbolism of Christ. Unbearable self loathing and guilt, along with our coping mechanisms of denial, projection, and transference is a condition of brutality, torture, bigotry, and abuse. This condition almost completely buries our spiritual humanity keeping us from seeing ourselves in others and others in ourselves. At the time of the Roman empire, this mistunement manifested as hard and bloody civilization if you could call it that. The remedy in the form of the forgiving man, bleeding on the cross, going through the torture and suffering is so similar to our own inhumanity, that the humanity in us shifts it’s attention away from it’s own denied buried condition to the outside story. Then the internal humanity rises to feel compassion, empathy, and a desire to be more human and to live by the golden rule.
Homeopathic practitioners are students of this law of atonement and similar curing similar, and how to apply it medicinally on a person by person basis in order to help move the person back toward harmony. We see that each individual has his own unique mistunement within the larger collective mistunment which manifests as ways of thinking, behaving, surviving stress, along with physical symptoms and the objects, acts, and events of life. Each individual’s unique mistunement is mirrored in the kingdoms of nature by similar forms and functions which when given in medicinal doses to a person will create similar symptoms and conditions. When given to the mistuned suffering person in the form of the tone of that mirror remedy, the mirror vibration is held before that very will and understanding at the deepest subconscious level which causes the mistuned vital force of the person to shift it’s attention to the remedy causing the vital force to rise to restore harmony in that specific area, thus enabling the person to vibrate more human and more whole with the Universal Intention. In this event, the entire person gets better because matter must obey the more harmonious vibration and manifest a more orderly working view of the world, behavior, and body.
